10 WWE Stars Destined To Be Remembered For One Storyline

Most stars are defined by a career, these wrestlers are stuck with the one story.

Most wrestlers go through so many storylines in their career that to pinpoint one is nearly impossible. Others aren't quite so lucky.

Those are the wrestlers that get that one storyline or angle that dominates their whole life. Whether that is because it is their one chance to make it to the big time and they flop, it is so ridiculous that it doesn't matter what else they do or the even rarer example of it being so good that they can't best it afterwards differs from case to case.

However it comes about, it leaves them with a big old burden on their shoulders, a monkey on their back.

Because those wrestlers, no matter where they go, will hear about it time after time after time. If they leave WWE and hit the indies, it will be the first chant the crowd starts or the first segment the promoter suggests they reference. Their whole careers will see them remembered not for their great wrestling skill and talent, but because of one particular storyline that they will never be able to forget.

Here are 10 WWE stars who are destined to be remembered for one single, solitary storyline.

10. Vladimir Koslov

Vladimir Koslov’s career path saw him go from next big thing to comedy tag team seemingly overnight.

Coming into WWE, he went on an unbeaten run that saw him demolish underrated talents like Jimmy Wang Yang and Colin Delaney before he started demanding a tougher fight. He got that by attacking Triple H and Jeff Hardy who were involved in a feud over the WWE Championship at the time.

Koslov would earn a shot in a triple-threat with those men when he beat Undertaker via disqualification. It was to be a short-lived foray into the main event, though, and he lost after Jeff Hardy was removed from the match due to a kayfabe injury and Edge joined in instead. From there on all signs pointed downhill.

The feuds he was put in got smaller and smaller, and all stations led to Santino Marella.

For a few months, Vladimir Koslov flirted with greatness, and he was even the opponent that Shawn Michaels defeated to set up his first match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania. However, it was never meant to last. Feuding with Triple H and Jeff Hardy would ultimately prove to be the defining moment of his WWE career, at least as a serious singles star.
