10 WWE Stars From 2005 Who'd Be Awesome On Today's Roster
3. Shelton Benjamin
At present, Shelton Benjamin is appearing in Pro Wrestling NOAH as a key component of New Japan's partnership with the financially struggling Japanese promotion. The idea that Shelton Benjamin (not just because he's African-American) isn't in the New Day is kinda crazy. From an in-ring style standpoint he's yet another babyface whose awkward charisma wasn't properly capitalized upon by the company in a unique manner. Shelton Benjamin would be excellent as a surprise Cena open challenge opponent or as a great in-ring foil for Kevin Owens, too. In all actuality, of everyone on the list, Benjamin's the one performer who could return absolutely ice cold and have the greatest immediate impact on WWE's product.
