10 WWE Stars In Danger Of Getting Lost In The Shuffle

You have to wonder if WWE creative find it funny to throw bizarre characters at Cody Rhodes, as the grandson of a plumber has had a fair few over the years.

If anything, Cody may have proven himself at being too adept at taking characters that should have been shut down at stage one and turning them into something good. 

In Stardust, they appear to have found something that they at least enjoy. 

However, it seems clear that this is a character that will never go any further than it already has. He’s never even managed to have a proper feud with his brother, which is a big angle just waiting to happen. WWE have missed the boat, there. 

The loopy creation just doesn’t work alongside these new talents: Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews don’t exist in the same world as such an over-the-top-persona. He looks out of place. 

So where does Cody go now? Well, it seems safe to say he’ll stay exactly where he is. He is just too good for WWE to get rid of him and even if that wasn't the case, his last name will ensure he has a job for years and years to come.  

So he’ll be the man that puts the new men over, and now and then will be thrown into a short-lived story by those in charge. It’s a sad fate for a wrestler who is as good as he is.
