10 WWE Stars Lost To The Sands Of Time

3. Luther Reigns

Before working for WWE, Luther Reigns was trained at the WCW Power Plant. Named 'Horshu' by the brain trust in Atlanta, the man was enhancement talent at best. His gimmick was that he said the word 'shu' a lot and had hair in the shape of a horse shoe, which is surely very creative, if nothing else. In 2003, WWE signed him, and he quickly became Kurt Angle's assistant on screen. Angle was the General Manager of Smackdown for a short spell, and Luther was his insurance policy throughout his run. For a period, it really seemed like the company were interested in pushing Reigns, but his biggest bout came against The Undertaker at No Way Out in February, 2005. Afterwards, Reigns formed a short-lived tag team with another estranged talent, Mark Jindrak. The duo didn't last long at all, and Luther Reigns started to become disillusioned by his position in the promotion. Negotiating his release from WWE, the guy has only wrestled sporadically ever since.
