10 WWE Stars Who Should Have Been Major Champions

2. The British Bulldog

The British Bulldog enjoyed an incredible amount of success with the WWE. He is the most successful British wrestler ever to compete with the company, and formed one half of a superb tag team with The Dynamite Kid in the 1980s - The British Bulldogs. However, the big prize always eluded Bulldog, which seems incredibly ludicrous. Perhaps the company weren't willing to pin their big belt on an overseas star, at a time when there was a great deal of American heroes? He competed in one of the most memorable matches in WWE history, when he defeated Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship at Wembley Stadium. Winning the belt in front of his own people was a great moment, and almost felt like a major championship win in itself. However, that wasn't the case. Bulldog never picked up a major belt with the WWE, and that seems like a crime.
