10 WWE Stars Samoa Joe MUST Face If He Returns To The Ring
7. Roderick Strong
Ever since the implosion of The Undisputed Era, each member of the team has gone on to something entirely different. For Roderick Strong, that meant more of the same, but in a higher position and with a lot more grit. Strong is currently making headway as the leader of the new Diamond Mine stable, and if there's one person who should take a pickaxe to this mine, it's Samoa Joe.
Strong is a great in-ring performer, as he's able to battle against guys twice his size and still look like a worthy competitor. He and Joe pair have crossed paths before in ROH, but seeing them at this later stage in their careers on a much bigger platform would be more likely to capture something special. Plus, It seems clear that Diamond Mine intends to run rampant on NXT, so the storyline would fit like a glove.
As competitors, they tell a great story of the dominant powerhouse and the innovative technical performer who attempts to outshine him. It's certainly something that fans would love to see.
