10 WWE Stars Set To Be “Future Endeavored” In 2015

9. Fandango

Long before he became a ballroom dancer, Fandango was known simply as Johnny Curtis. He's been under contract to WWE since 2006, but he wasn't called up to the main roster until 2010. Curtis took part in the fourth season of WWE NXT. Despite winning the competition, he didn't make his SmackDown debut until August 2011. Even after he did, he was marginalized on the blue brand for years before being repackaged as Fandango in March 2013. Fandango received a push early on in his career with a win over Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29, but the reaction he received on Raw the next night was the peak of his popularity. He suffered a concussion in June, preventing him from contending for (and winning) the Intercontinental Championship at the Payback pay-per-view. He floundered up until his recent re-debut at Survivor Series. He's been touted as being "new and improved," but the bottom line is that the gimmick just isn't working. If WWE doesn't repackage him as an actual wrestler sooner rather than later, he may find himself looking for work in 2015.
