10 WWE Stars Set To Be “Future Endeavored” In 2015
8. Sin Cara
Arguably, no Superstar has flopped harder in the last few years than Sin Cara. His WWE signing was highly touted by Triple H, but it was all downhill from there. Over the course of 2011, he botched in almost all of his matches, got suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, and suffered an injury at Survivor Series. He hasn't been the same since. WWE released the original Sin Cara (Mistico) in early 2014, but kept the character alive by having Hunico reprise the role. But, why? Were Sin Cara's merchandise sales so high that they had no choice but to keep the character around? It has a stigma of failure attached to it that it'll never get anywhere on the main roster, no matter who is under the mask. Hunico was never anything special on his own and he'd probably be worse off if he wasn't portraying Sin Cara. He's currently one-half of the NXT Tag Team champions with Kalisto, but that'll run its course before long. His former tag team partner Camacho was released from WWE this past year and there's a chance he may be joining him in the employment line in 2015.
