4. Heidenreich
wwe.comJohn Heidenreich was another guy in a long list of big guys that threatened the Undertaker's career by attacking him out of nowhere to set up a feud. WWE really loved setting up Undertaker feuds that way. There were actually two terrible PPV matches between them. The first one was a boring match at Survivor Series 2004. No gimmicks for this match. Just a regular match that Undertaker won clean. It's one of those matches that just wouldn't end. Really boring. The second terrible match in question was a Casket Match at the 1995 Royal Rumble. It was another case of the crowd not really believing in the heel because they knew he wasn't very good. To WWE's credit they tried to make the match more entertaining by having Snitsky and Kane do run-ins, but it really didn't help much. Undertaker won and thankfully that was the end of the Heidenreich push. Why do you think WWE never mentions that the great Paul Heyman managed Heidenreich leading up to this feud? Probably because WWE knows Heidenreich wasn't very good and they don't like mentioning things like that when talking about Heyman as the best manager ever. Because ignoring Heidenreich is good for business.
