10 WWE Stars Undertaker Failed To Elevate To The Next Level

5. The Big Show

WWE had no idea what to do with Big Show in order to repeat the success Andre had. Sure, they tried to make him look like a dangerous juggernaut, but it wasn't long before he was jobbing out to bigger stars like the Rock and Steve Austin on a regular basis. So they tried to put him with the Undertaker, in the hopes that it would bring about significant positive change. Unfortunately, it didn't. From 1999 to 2009, Big Show and the Undertaker faced off and teamed together on numerous occasions, with Taker trying to make his opponent look like the multi-million-dollar draw he was supposed to become. Sadly, their matches were incredibly disappointing on several occasions. Taker's match with Big Show at WrestleMania XIX remains one of the worst of the Streak's history, and his renewed feud with Show in 2008 into 2009, which included both a Casket match and a Last Man Standing Match, were incredibly underwhelming. In the end, no one benefitted from this feud. Despite Big Show admitting that the Undertaker was his mentor, Big Show himself wasn't 100% committed to the changes that Undertaker had suggested he adopt. There were very strong rumours circulating in the early-to-mid 2000s that Big Show was lazy and preferred fast food to exercising, which prevented some of WWE's top brass from taking him seriously.
