10 WWE Stars Who Are Unhappy Right Now

5. Gran Metalik

Gran Metalik is an incredible professional wrestler.

The best and most under-utilised member of the Lucha House Party, he was entrusted to produce the befitting, classic end to the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic finale. His achievement was thrilling at the time, but is even better re-watched through the lens of 2019; his vicious, explosive work, a spin on the balletic lucha libre genre adapted brilliantly for western audiences, maximised the rapidly fading appeal of TJ Perkins, who had drawn the ire of the Full Sail crowd having defeated Kota Ibushi in the semi-final.

Once a world-renowned, critically-acclaimed super worker, Metalik constantly plays underling to Kalisto, a performer who simply isn't remotely as good. He is, as one might expect, unhappy with his position. Alicia Fox has featured more prominently on 205 Live than he has, at least it feels that way.

In December, Metalik created a Twitter poll gauging interest in his next destination: CMLL or the Independent circuit. This was...bold, and we can only presume Lince Dorado was given a stern talking to as a result.

Metalik has genuine wanderlust, unlike some of the other performers on this list, who you suspect are angling for that sweet, sweet three-week Revival push...
