10 WWE Stars Who BURIED The Writers

6. Colt Cabana

Scotty Goldman
WWE

The entrepreneurial Colt Cabana didn't scorch the earth in harnessing his frustrations with the WWE writing structure; instead, he used the creative and legit funny 'Creative Has Nothing For You' outlet.

The very existence of that show was a marvellous, ironic indictment of just everything. Creative had nothing for Scotty Goldman, but Colt Cabana created a superb sketch comedy show that, in an exponentially better timeline, made WWE's expensive and damaging process entirely redundant.

A wrestler.

Wrote far better "good sh*t".

Than the writers.

Toying with the writing staff's total inability to understand wrestling, Cabana exposed the rank stupidity and hypocrisy by heightening the satire. Actually, a memory refresh exercise revealed that very little of this was exaggerated for comic effect. In episode 59, HEEL, the writer (played wonderfully by Marty DeRosa) referred to the people as "disgusting" so often that it was essentially a word-for-word dramatisation of the production meeting that resulted in Dean Ambrose's 2018 heel character. In episode 44, ANN O'REXIC, Cabana highlighted WWE's fondness for both "America's type" and sh*tty puns. This was uploaded to YouTube in 2012.

In 2018, Charlotte Flair said "Ken Dostick", and in 2019, WWE is pushing the blonde and slender Lacey Evans far beyond her ability level.
