4. Shawn Michaels

Every time Shawn Michaels has shown up on WWE television since retiring, he has offered reliability on the microphone. Whether he was warning Triple H against battling The Undertaker at WrestleMania, interacting with former student Daniel Bryan or having a war of words with both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, HBK has been welcomed back with open arms by fans.

People would be delighted to see Shawn as a regular fixture on WWE programming again. He may stick to his guns and refuse to wrestle, but that doesn't mean Michaels can't fill the Commissioner role and bring his credibility with him. It wouldn't be the first time either, because HBK was once Commish during the late-90's and into the 2000's.

Older and wiser than he was then, Shawn has also made peace with the idea of not lacing up his boots and stealing the show. Instead, he'd be part of the show as Commissioner but never the focal point. Much like Regal, he's somebody Bryan has a lot of time for and would enjoy working alongside.
