10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need Their OLD Gimmicks

8. Asuka - Unbeatable

Asuka has been a shining star in what will surely be remembered as the dullest period in WWE history.

The March 2020-present period has been labelled the "Empty Arena Era" for all the obvious reasons (and because everything has to be an era apparently) but nobody told the 'Empress Of Tomorrow'. She screams towards nobody in particular and dances as if nobody's watching, even if these cases are both literal in that desolate f*cking Performance Center.

Her reward - when she's rewarded with an audience again - should be a full time return to being the unstoppable sh*tkicker that got her so incredibly over in the first place.

She can never be undefeated in the truest sense ever again, but a winning streak is as good if not better. WWE almost never go 100% in on anybody anymore, to such an extent that it'd position her above everybody apart from former rivals Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair if they did.

And in the last 12 months, it's only been those two she's felt underneath in the typically unstable pecking order. Ronda Rousey's run proved the effectiveness of the device and the division is yet again in need of somebody who simply too good to lose.
