10 WWE Stars Who Have Completely Changed Since Their Debuts

4. Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal
WWE

Debut: Signed on to the FCW roster in 2010, then made his main roster debut in 2011. Spent time away from WWE between 2014-2016 before re-debuting.

How He's Changed: Nobody needs to tell Jinder Mahal what renewed focus and a body transformation can do for one's career. He was a cookie-cutter wrestler when he debuted on the main roster to confront The Great Khali in 2011. Seven years on, he's in tremendous physical shape, has grown out his hair (both head and facial) and even enjoyed an unlikely run as WWE Champion in 2017.

There's no way Mahal was coming close to that before. His mind was in a different place, and he grew so disenchanted with wrestling that he almost chucked it to open a Subway franchise.

Much like old 3MB running buddy Drew McIntyre, Jinder's main victory has been a mental one. He's managed to overcome his own self-doubt, some worrying alcohol problems and crippling unhappiness to become WWE's main Indian star and a former World Champ.
