10 WWE Stars Who Have Completely Changed Since Their Debuts

2. Luke Gallows

Luke Gallows
WWE

Debut: Signed to a developmental deal in 2005 and posted to OVW. Made sporadic main roster appearances from 2006 onwards before leaving WWE between 2010-2016. After making a name for himself in NJPW, he returned in 2016.

How He's Changed: Eight or nine years ago when his original Festus character wrapped up, Luke Gallows surely knew something had to change if he was ever going to be taken seriously.

Gallows deserves credit for hitting the gym, dieting properly and showing more dedication to the cause than ever before in 2009-2010. Although that didn't stop his release in 2010, time away from WWE in TNA and New Japan was also good for him, and it's where he met current tag partner Karl Anderson.

Over the years, Luke has added heavy tattoo work, shaved his head bald, grown out a goatee and trimmed the fat without losing muscle. Anyone who only knew him as Festus must have been taken aback when he bounded back onto WWE screens in 2016.
