10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

8. Happy Corbin

WWE seems to be done with the Happy Corbin story.

Corbin hasn't wrestled a match on TV since losing to Ricochet on the 26 August SmackDown, and he hasn't been seen on camera full stop since getting into JBL's limo on the 2 September edition. It looks like the former Raw GM is about to get another repackage job.

Becoming this era's JBL might not be a bad spot for him, to tell the truth. There are clear parallels between the money-obsessed character Corbs had been playing lately and Layfield's old gimmick anyway, and having the legend as his manager could lead to some good old-fashioned heel sh*thousery.

When is it happening though? WWE hasn't pulled the trigger quite yet, and we're over a month removed from the limo promo. Finally, who does Corbin even feud with when he returns? Resuming the Madcap Moss stuff sounds rubbish, for example. His options are limited generally.
