10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

6. Jinder Mahal

Michael Cole marvelled at The Viking Raiders squashing "former WWE Champion" Jinder Mahal and Shanky in just 90 seconds on the 22 July SmackDown. That, it was clear, was a bid to make Erik and Ivar look like rampaging badasses who couldn't be stopped, and it worked to a point.

Jinder hasn't really been seen since.

No, leave any and all jokes about the vicious beating being that bad at the door. Mahal hasn't shown up on any injury reports recently either, which suggests that he's currently in creative purgatory. The writers just don't have anything for the guy, so he's been kept off TV for approx three months.

That's a long time to sit on your hands. Jinder must be sweating a wee bit about his future, because he's gone from working top stars like Drew McIntyre in short feuds, to rapping with Shanky then encouraging his mate to stop dancing like a big goof.
