10 WWE Stars Who Have Suffered The Most Since WrestleMania 30
8. Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose is arguably in a bigger match this year at WrestleMania, but theres little doubt that his solo push hasnt worked out as expected. Sure, you could say he main-evented a pay-per-view over these past 12 months, but his match with Bray Wyatt that closed out TLC was never considered the top program in the company. In The Shield, Ambrose was pretty well protected as a lunatic type character, now were constantly reminded hes the lunatic fringe which is corporate marketing at its worst. When Roman Reigns went down with injury, Ambrose was pushed into the no. 2 babyface spot, and had a mediocre go at it. Maybe managements heart wasnt in it, or perhaps Dean hasnt quite found himself yet as a character. Theres still a lot of untapped potential for him, but this upcoming Intercontinental Title car crash match is a far cry from where fans thought he'd by by now in his solo run.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
