10 WWE Stars Who MUST Be Thinking About Jumping Ship To AEW
1. Aleister Black
NXT stars rising to the main roster and being underutilised is a tale as old as time. While other notable names like Ricochet and Keith Lee have been disappointing, the treatment of Aleister Black has been a real sticking point for many fans.
Aleister Black is one of the most unique and exciting wrestlers in the business. His gothic presentation, superb striking skills and presence make him an entirely notable presence on the main roster, yet he never seems to find any traction. In a similar vein to Ruby Riott, it appears that WWE has no idea how to present him, as they're not used to working with stars like him.
He's spent the last six months away to deal with minor injuries, and in that time, has gone through a shocking body transformation, getting into the best shape of his life. Still, his return to WWE will likely be more of the same, i.e. nothing.
In addition to his lack of success with WWE creative, it's impossible to believe that Black doesn't hold some resentment over the fact that the company fired his wife Thea Trinidad - Zelina Vega - for discussing unionising and working with third-party platforms. That's just more fuel on the fire for his motive to make the switch.
