Of course, just prior to appearing in the WWF, as Jack Hart Barry Horowitz was the NWA's Florida Heavyweight Champion. Similarly, Curtis Axel is a main eventer. For Wrestlemania? No. For a smaller crowd that emphasizes solid wrestling over TV presentation, Axel's a perfect top guy. A throwback in every sense of the word, for WWE in 2015, he's enhancement talent. On 80s Florida TV, he's the champion. It's sad, yet funny how things work, right?
