Cesaro and Nakamura's collective greatness in the ring hardly needs stating at this point, but the one thing that has held them back has been their weakness on the mic (see the somewhat ranty promo at the end of this clip for an example). Unfortunately, with their mouthpiece Sami Zayn on the sidelines this is a problem that looks unlikely to improve in the near future.

For this reason alone sending the pair to NXT makes sense. Mic work doesn't play as important a role on NXT as it does on the main roster. The years when teams like American Alpha, the Revival, DIY and the Authors of Pain battled for the tag titles is remembered as a golden era not for any great promo work from the above teams, but for the quality of the matches they put on.

NXT's tag division has definitely dipped in quality since those halcyon days. Booking a team with the name value and in-ring credentials of Nakamura & Cesaro to appear on the brand would go a long way to restoring the division to its former glory, and provide the pair with the ideal environment to do what they do best - put on excellent, hard-hitting matches.
