10 WWE Stars Who Pretty Much Asked To Be Fired

9. Big Cass

Aries wasn't as big a hassle as Big Cass.

By his own admission, Enzo Amore's old running buddy was immature during his stint in WWE, but he was struggling with depression, and used alcohol to try and cope. Obviously, that was never going to work long-term, especially as his employers saw him as a problem to solve, rather than a struggling human to help.

Since being released in June 2018, Cass has admitted that WWE were right to let him go and he doesn't harbour any ill will towards the company for doing so. He was crippled with anxiety and didn't help himself by ignoring Vince McMahon-led booking directives (during that mini-Daniel Bryan skit) or acting like a jerk on the road.

Things came to a head when WWE decided that Cass' behaviour was too much and terminated his deal 48 hours after a MITB 2018 loss to Daniel Bryan. Cass, who once seemed to have the entire world at his feet, ended up causing his own downfall.
