Some way ahead of The Miz but some way behind the number six wrestler, the Rated-R Superstar wrestled on Monday Night RAW an impressive 278 times, testament to his longevity in the company. He would have wrestled countless more matches if he hadn't suffered so many injuries, but 278 matches is still impressive nonetheless.

He didn't start off in the most promising of ways, however, as his first televised RAW match saw him defeat the former member of Los Boriquas Jose Estrada Jr. by count-out, with the match ended abruptly after Estrada suffered an injured neck.

277 matches later Edge would lace up his boots on RAW for the final time, teaming up with storyline brother Christian to defeat Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay in the build up to Edge's battle against Del Rio at WrestleMania XXVII.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
