3. Seth Rollins Vs. Sting

Seth's rivalries were blighted this year weren't they? Well, he did perform the heist of the century at WrestleMania which sort of set the tone for a year of higgledy piggledy feuds. All we got was one match between Sting and Seth after weeks of rather entertaining and innovative segments on RAW. Who could forget The Stinger appearing in place of The Architect's statue, or how the WCW great condemned it to a rubbish truck. It remains to be seen whether Sting and his fragile body would have been capable of completing another match in what would have surely been a pretty short space of time, but the way the rivalry slowly built suggested we were in-line for at least one more showdown. Damn those turnbuckles and whiplash! Sting revealed on Ric Flair's podcast how he needs to have surgery now, which has cast his in-ring future into doubt. And given the inevitably bumper schedule Rollins will have on his return later, it's really difficult to see how he could fit The Stinger. Sting's active career could be over...
