8. Corbin Kills Rey And Aleister

Rey Mysterio has had a pretty interesting year. Forgetting the various romantic dalliances of his daughter and the whole 'son making his debut at SummerSlam' thing, it really has been a very eventful 2020 for the future Hall of Famer. I'll get onto his eye problems shortly, but it seems to have been completely forgotten than Rey was murdered this year.

What's more, Aleister Black was also murdered in exactly the same fashion.

At the 2020 Money in the Bank pay-per-view, the two ladder matches took place at WWE HQ and saw the various superstars lay waste to the building. The action eventually led to the roof, where Otis and Asuka were able to gain their respective briefcases.

The roof was also where King Corbin threw Rey and Black overboard, as in off the roof of the 84.8ft high building. Rey and Black are pretty talented blokes but surviving a near 26-metre fall takes more than talent. It takes a creative team that has no idea what it is doing.

Things were to get worse for both Mysterio and Black, which is pretty incredible when you consider they were actually murdered by King Corbin. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
