10 WWE Storylines Which Could Make WrestleMania 37 The Greatest Yet
5. Daniel Bryan Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Daniel Bryan and Shinsuke Nakamura is a dream match that WWE have only booked once so far, in a SmackDown no contest leading into WrestleMania 36. There is so much potential in a babyface Bryan vs. heel Nakamura feud that it’s ridiculous they haven’t capitalised on it yet, and it could easily steal a WrestleMania in the way Angle/Michaels did.
Daniel Bryan is the greatest wrestler in the world, we all know this, no one has blended technicality, brutality, storytelling and character work the way he has. He is an incredibly emotional performer and ever since returning from his career ending injury, he has fought with extra weight and emotion every time he’s stepped in the ring. Shinsuke Nakamura is a king who loves surfing and who happens to be one of the best workers of the century. While he doesn’t often try in WWE, he would for his dream opponent Bryan.
The two have a long lasting relationship, with them being roommates at one point, and this is the kind of dream match that could build off both men’s technical acumen to spellbind audiences. WrestleManias need wrestling classics as much as they need big stories, and there’s no better match they could book than Nakamura/Bryan.
