10 WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Impulse Reactions

5. Mansoor Vs Dolph Ziggler

At the Royal Rumble, Dolph Ziggler was lucky enough to be chosen to take the first spear from returning Edge and was then rightfully rather f*cked off when the company inexplicably cut away just before the 'Rated-R Superstar' connected with it.

It wasn't the first time some bone-headed WWE production called for a fan reaction to the wrestling than the wrestling itself, but has Kevin Dunn joined Vince McMahon in forgetting to ride a bike or was he just ribbing the 'The Show Off' with his slow-motion replay of Mansoor's botched moonsault?

Knees connected with ribs more so than the babyface did with his countrymen too - this was far from a Cesaro showpiece for Mansoor, with the audience perhaps mindful that he's doing absolutely f*ck all outside of these show to get excited about. Do WWE keep forgetting that these fans actually watch the weekly shows? He could well be en route to beating Brock Lesnar in 2028, but unless they work to get him over beyond this already played-out pattern, it'll go down about as well as the 90 second squash that followed.
