10 WWE Superstar Careers Completely F****d By Injuries

Will Daniel Bryan ever wrestle again?

Bodies have been bruised, necks broken, careers ended in an instant. Yes, this is entertainment, but the hazards are real. Anybody who ever watched a WWE DVD knows this disclaimer by heart (and you can't fast forward through it either). It's there for a reason; professional wrestling is an incredibly dangerous profession. Wrestlers have said that every match is like a demolition derby. They are slammed to a mat that offers small support, and is held up by wood and steel. The ropes are made of steel cable. For a "fake" sport, wrestling claims a number of injuries each year. The Attitude Era upped the ante on wrestler injuries by having wrestlers perform more dangerous high spots that wow the crowd but put their bodies at further risk of injury. Some wrestler careers have been shortened or even ended because of either chronic pain or freak accidents in the ring. Here we have a list of 10 such wrestlers whose careers were completely f*cked by injuries. There are some pretty big names on this list as well. Some were more successful than others. Some are hall of famers. But even a hall of fame career could have been so much more had the injury bug not struck.
