10 WWE Superstar Careers Completely F****d By Injuries

2. Daniel Bryan

Much like Wade Barrett, the jury is still out on Daniel Bryan, but overall the signs don€™t look good. Like Rey, Bryan already had a long, storied career before he was signed to the WWE in 2009. He wrestled for nearly a decade in the independents, suffering a separated shoulder among other injuries while working a furious style that delighted fans but took a serious toll on his body. Bryan continued that balls-to-the-wall mentality in order to get over with the fans in the WWE. He would never have the size, so he needed the in-ring ability to keep up with the other big boys. That style is the main reason why Bryan had to undergo neck surgery a month after winning the Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania earlier this year. It was the momentum killer of all momentum killers. Recovery has not gone well; Bryan has had to undergo multiple followup surgeries to get strength to return to his extremities. There€™s no guarantee that Bryan may ever wrestle another match again.
