Back in 2001, Lesnar was arrested for illegally possessing steroids. However, the charges were dropped when it was discovered that the substances were a legal growth hormone. His lawyer described the substance in question as a: "vitamin type of thing." Lesnar was arrested in the January by Louisville Division of Police detectives after he received and opened a parcel that cops said contained a 'large amount of steroids.' The case lasted four months and could have had serious implications on Brock's professional wrestling career, which was in its infancy back then. Brock was in WWE's developmental territory OVW with the likes of Batista and Randy Orton while the case paned out. He was tested for steroids but the results proved no foul play was taking place. Lesnar was also charged with hunting infractions on a trip to Alberta in 2010. Two charges were dropped but Lesnar pleaded guilty to the charge of improper tagging of an animal. He was fined $1,725 and given a six-month hunting suspension.
