10 WWE Superstars Who Could Call Themselves "Mr Summerslam"
If Shawn Michaels is "Mr WrestleMania", who then is "Mr SummerSlam"?
WWE.comIts officially summertime! We are just short of one week into the summer of 2014, and things are definitely heating up. Kids are out of school, The World Cup continues, the weather is getting better and better, summer blockbusters are starting to roll into theatres, and of course the start of summer also signifies the beginning of the Road to Summerslam. You know, the road that the WWE doesnt pay quite as much attention to (they always seem to be making plans for that other road around February and March). Summerslam, while not Wrestlemania, is one of the WWEs premier annual special events. Summerslam takes place live from sunny California each year, it always comes right around the last couple weeks of the summer season, and it usually features the culmination of the WWEs hottest summer programs. Its a great way to celebrate summer coming to a close, and more often than not it delivers a quality show, with its share of big moments. Its funny that an event with such a storied history doesnt have many superstars clamoring to make it their show. Obviously everybody wants to steal the show at Wrestlemania and become Mr. Wrestlemania, but owning Summerslam would be quite an accomplishment in its own right. This week, lets look at 10 Superstars who could claim the title of Mr. Summerslam. Like the Iron Throne of Westeros, many can stake a claim, but in the end there can only be one true Mr. Summerslam. As always your comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. Let us know who you think deserves the Mr. Summerslam moniker. Now lets Rock and Roll!
