10 WWE Superstars Who Deserve Better

6. Naomi

If you€™ve ever seen Total Divas (which you should not ever watch, unless you are physically threatened into doing so) you€™d know that Naomi is one of the only likeable cast members. She genuinely comes across as a nice, level-headed woman who is passionate about the business. If you€™ve seen her in a WWE ring, then you know she has crazy athletic ability. If you€™ve seen her cutting a promo on a microphone...well, then you€™ve seen something that most fans have not. It possibly has never happened on one of WWE€™s main shows. So who is she, and what does she hope to accomplish in WWE? Even worse for Naomi is that she€™s still stuck in the awful Funkadactyls gimmick, even though they left Brodus Clay months ago. So why did they take his theme music and continue to do their pre-match dancing? The first thing she needs to do is break away from Cameron as soon as humanly possible. Cameron is completely unlikable. She may be an okay heel someday, but as a babyface she€™s obnoxious, with absolutely no in-ring skills to speak of. Naomi, on the other hand, can go in the ring. If WWE focused on her talent and athletic ability, she could be a hero to younger girls looking for someone to rally around. WWE has tried to make The Bellas fan favorites to no success, they€™ve tried with Natalya and Layla too. Naomi has not been given a decent chance. She deserves the opportunity to break out and to succeed or fail on her own.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
