10 WWE Superstars John Cena Has Put Over
5. The Shield
The careers of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns have all followed similarly eventful lines. They debuted together at Survivor Series 2012, and went on a rampage on the WWE roster, going undefeated for over a year. All three held the WWE Championship on the same night (Money in the Bank 2016) and are all Grand Slam Champions. Ambrose and Rollins are former Money in the Bank winners, while Reigns is a former Royal Rumble winner. All three have also faced and defeated John Cena.
Ambrose has two separate wins over Cena. The first came in 2014, when Ambrose beat Cena in a 'Contract on a Pole' match to become number 1 contender to Seth Rollins's WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell 2014. He also defeated Cena on SmackDown Live! in 2016. Rollins and Cena feuded over the summer of 2014, which saw Rollins go over Cena at SummerSlam 2014 and win the United States title in the process too. This was a major rub for Rollins, who was just finding his footing at the top of the card. Finally, Cena recently put over Roman Reigns at No Mercy 2017, building up The Big Dog for his eventual clash with Brock Lesnar.
