10 WWE Superstars Who Performed The Perfect Elbow Drop

4. CM Punk

tumblrtumblrKudos have to go to CM Punk for defiantly memorializing the rarely mentioned €œMacho Man€ Randy Savage by hitting his signature maneuver, the diving elbow drop, during his matches, compete with the top turnbuckle pose. Punk incorporated the big elbow into his regular movest, even occasionally winning matches off the move. While Punk€™s elbow drop can be sloppy at times, he deserves a lot of credit for how he has helped bring Macho Man back into focus in WWE with a true homage to Savage, not just an elbow from the top rope. When he isn€™t doing that move, Punk has been known to throw caution to the wind and hit a Shane McMahon elbow from the top turnbuckle through the Spanish announcers€™ table. Those two types of elbow drops warrant a high placement on this list.
