10 WWE Superstars Returning In 2016

6. The Hardy Boyz

As one of the most popular WWE tag teams of all time, Matt and Jeff Hardy have always had a connection with the fans - a connection that's allowed them to return to the company even after leaving under less-than-ideal circumstances. Both men's most recent tenures ended badly - Jeff was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after leaving in 2009, while a disgruntled Matt got himself fired by making inflammatory YouTube videos the following year - but time has passed and there's money to be made. Both of the Hardys will be contractually able to sign with WWE in 2016, and there's rumored interest on both sides. The Dudley Boyz recently made a successful return to the company's tag ranks, and throwing the Hardys in the mix would allow the company to relive the division's glory days - possibly in the form of a Hardys-Dudleys-Usos-New Day TLC match. Even more important, though, would be the value Jeff Hardy could bring to the company as a singles star. He was a proven draw and a bonafide superstar during his last WWE run, and at only 38 years of age, he's still got a lot to offer the industry. Maybe after a tag team run in which Hardy can reacclimate to WWE, he'll be a top babyface once more.
