10 WWE Superstars Set For A Big Push Following WrestleMania 34

6. Carmella

A non-entity at WrestleMania 34, Carmella scored the biggest win of her career two nights later on SmackDown, finally cashing in her Money In The Bank briefcase on Charlotte Flair.

The new SmackDown Women's Champion drifted in and out of the spotlight last year, but should now make it her home. Bumbling referee aside, her pin on Charlotte was well-executed, with the debuting IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) setting the scene with a beatdown. Expect 'The Princess Of Staten Island' to continue down a similar path over the coming weeks and months. She'll establish herself as a cowardly, Honky Tonk Man-esque champion, taking shortcuts and continually avoiding face-to-face confrontations, sending her crowd heat through the roof.

This would be the perfect role for someone once considered the third wheel in Enzo Amore and Big Cass' act. Carmella's prospects looked bleak when the duo were promoted to the main roster without her, but she has outlasted the problematic Amore, and surpassed Cass as a performer. The finished article she most certainly is not, but Carmella is fast becoming a star.
