10 WWE Superstars That Are Permanently Lost
5. Los Lotharios
There's an derisory-sounding old term for something that is at this point a redundant concept in WWE but still offers value to companies prepared to book with patience and care - "jobber to the stars".
As cruel as that might first feel, the phrase applies to a crucial component of any roster. Those with the JTTS tag are there to look at the lights as per the name, but the fact they're trusted to do so speaks to just how reliable they are between the ropes. Bret Hart vocally campaigned for Barry Horowitz to enter the Hall Of Fame because 'The Hitman's the best and he understands what it takes to be almost as good.
Unfortunately for Los Lotharios, the role isn't really a role anymore. Jobbers to the stars don't prep a raft of future main eventers, or develop characters just fleshed out enough to mean something when they're beaten. Now, if you're not winning on Mondays or Fridays, you're a loser forever. Their talent, looks and charisma counts for little as a result, and they've been crushed underfoot from the off.
