10 WWE Superstars That Got Out At The Right Time
5. Kevin Nash
Kevin Nash uttered the mantra in numerous shoot interviews, and only adjusted it as he prepared to enter WWE's Hall Of Fame in 2015, but his ideology that wrestling was "only about the money and the miles" wasn't the unhealthiest to live by in order to survive the industry's grisly grind.
Alongside Scott Hall, Nash alienated may of his colleagues, but he saw through the veneer persistently presented by promoters that were always out for themselves rather than the individual performers. Rather than reluctantly approaching this fiercely capitalistic enterprise, Nash instead embraced the absurdity of how to earn, and got in to get out.
Limited returns for TNA and WWE following the death of WCW in 2001 were only ever if the money was right, with Nash never again working a full time schedule after his ill-fated 2003 run against Triple H. 'Big Daddy' playing it so cool was something that separated him from the pack as a wrestler, but few have similarly worn their retirement as well.
Enjoying middle age without some of the latter-day trials and tribulations others have endured, Nash has always been a pillar of security for the various times his buddies needed such support.
