10 WWE Superstars Who Are Being Totally Overlooked

7. The IIconics

As they're still a team, we're going to include both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce here because WWE has seriously dropped the ball on The IIconics. Following a massively entertaining run in NXT, no one was surprised when they were called up to the main roster as a tag team, and they did an excellent job playing the annoying heels who could easily infuriate fans.

After winning the Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, it seemed like WWE had stumbled across a duo who could put the division on the map, but Kay and Royce were portrayed as losers from the start and disappeared from television after dropping the belts. The reason why has never been revealed, but given how rarely even The Kabuki Warriors defend their titles, it seems WWE just has zero creative plans for these titles.

The way they were treated during their reign hurt The IIconics in a big way, and with no sign of them even on live events since last year, it looks like WWE may have gone back to the drawing board and could even be considering repackaging them. That's probably for the best at this point, and considering that they're both talented singles competitors, that's probably the best way to salvage their respective careers.
