2. John Cena

Last Time We Saw Them: 'Free Agent' John Cena suffered an ankle injury during a 14 January Fatal-4-Way match with Drew McIntyre, Finn Bálor and Baron Corbin. That spoiled his Royal Rumble plans (Cena was scheduled to enter the 30-man match), and he hasn't been back over the past few months.

Why They'd Return: Star power is always at a premium following WrestleMania, and though this year seems a bit different due to the stunning lack of part-timers on the card WWE will want to arm themselves as best they can. That's where Cena comes in. Should he show up on the Raw after 'Mania, it'll be newsworthy.

Cena's main role nowadays is to help others. He doesn't need wins, and could in fact lose every match from here until 2029 without shedding his aura. That's why he's so valuable, and it's why WWE could do with bringing him back in between movie projects for another noteworthy job to someone like Seth Rollins or even an aspiring top liner like Drew McIntyre.
