10 WWE Superstars Who Could Win A Rebooted King Of The Ring

4. Kevin Owens

Prior to Kevin Owens’ in ring return earlier this year, he appeared in several vignettes that depicted him as a bowling, pizza chomping everyman, more King of The Hill than King of The Ring.

That was before bad timing forced a heel turn, costing Owens his renewed push in the process. Now he’s being jobbed out on television most weeks and while he’s great at whatever he’s given to do he already feels badly indeed of a refresh.

If we must have heel Owens then at least he should be allowed some wins and something to gloat about. He is, after all, an excellent gloater. This could either make him a credible midcard gatekeeper or else he could use his status as King of The Ring to justify a tilt at top titleholders Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston (or, God help us, Baron Corbin and Shane O’Mac).
