10 WWE Superstars Who Could Win Money In The Bank 2023
6. Sheamus
Banger after banger after banger!
Much to the chagrin of All Elite Wrestling commentator, Taz, Sheamus has been on a roll over the past year or so. After years of being thoroughly underappreciated by the WWE Universe, the Irish powerhouse seems to have finally commanded the respect his talent deserves.
His war with GUNTHER over the once-again prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship garnered rave reviews, a five star match and a seemingly unbreakable bond with the audience as he enters the twilight of his career. Not bad for a man who used to get taunted about how stupid he looked.
Sheamus has won it all in WWE, including a Money In The Bank which he successfully cashed in on Roman Reigns in 2015. But history shouldn't repeat itself. In fact, we lied when we said Sheamus has won it all, as he hasn't.
The only accolade missing from his legendary career is the WWE Intercontinental Championship and he has made it clear that he is willing to do anything to get his hands on it. Having fallen to GUNTHER at Clash At The Castle, it's unlikely the Austrian will want to face the man again. This would force his hand.
WWE foolishly had Austin Theory cash in the briefcase on the WWE United States Championship in 2022, but this wouldn't be foolish on the 'Brawlin' Brutes' part. In fact, seeing the IC strap as more coveted than the WWE or Universal Championship would only elevate it more.
