10 WWE Superstars Who Deserve To Be Angry Right Now

8. The Ascension

Down in NXT, The Ascension were a top tag-team. Running roughshod over everyone, they were booked as dominating monsters with a cool gimmick and foreboding attitudes.

The sky seemed to be the limit once they moved to the main roster, but the move up has been an absolute nightmare for Konnor and Viktor thus far.

WWE appear to have totally given up on the duo and they're presented as face-painted fools more often than not. That menacing appearance of theirs is consistently tossed away once the bell rings and The Ascension are very much jobbers at the moment.

They're low down on the totem pole, a guaranteed win for anyone who is booked against them.

There's something decidedly unfortunate about that, because their gothic-style gimmick had potential some time ago. Since being called up to the main roster in 2014, they have done very little of note, and it must leave them wondering what has to happen in order for them to be taken seriously.

As other NXT teams like Enzo Amore & Big Cass and The Lucha Dragons excel, The Ascension look like they're ripe for demotion any minute (Konnor's recent suspension for a second Wellness Policy violation can't have done them any favours, either).
