10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need New Entrance Theme Music

5. Nia Jax

Nia Jax
WWE

Nia Jax has a quite miserable entrance theme. You know the one, the ‘I’m not like most girls’ tune, a tAtU b-side if ever there was one. The song rams the hook down the listener’s throat with over-produced drums and aimless synth doing a whole lot of nothing in the background. The longer you listen to it, the worse it gets.

Whether the song is good or bad (it is bad) is all down to the subjective experience of the listener, but few will argue that it fits a dominant performer like Jax. ‘The Irresistible Force’ is one of the few wrestlers who could benefit from a more faceless theme, one that conjures up a feeling or emotion, rather than one that may or may not have been thrown together in a Manchester studio in 2002.

Nia Jax has been out of action since WrestleMania 35. That year has been spent receiving surgery on both of her knees after she tore both ACLs, the sort of injury that is painful to type (let alone experience), although she is due to return at some point in the near future. Here’s hoping she returns with more appropriate entrance music.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
