10 WWE Superstars Who Didn't Lose Their Final Matches

10. Chris Benoit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ6HnqTIs9M The most morbid entry into this list thanks to the circumstances that surrounded his death, Chris Benoit wrestled his last match for World Wrestling Entertainment on June 19, 2007 on an episode of ECW on SyFy. His opponent that night was Elijah Burke and his victory in that bout earned him the right to square off with CM Punk for the vacated ECW Championship the following Sunday at Vengeance: Night of Champions. As history tells us, though, that match never happened. Instead, Benoit missed the entire weekend of live events, then no-showed the pay-per-view broadcast. He was found deceased in his home, along with his son Daniel and wife Nancy one day later in an apparent double murder-suicide that shook the wrestling industry and proved its greatest scandal of the 21st Century.
