1. Mason Ryan

Reflecting back on the career of Mason Ryan in WWE, it's difficult to comprehend what exactly officials saw in him other than his impressive physique. Then again, that was just about all that was taken into account several years ago when WWE began recruiting talent for their developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling.

Straight from the get-go in FCW, Ryan made an immediate impact by quickly capturing the territory's top title. From there, he was promoted to the main roster at the start of 2011 to take part in the New Nexus angle. Based off his lack of in-ring experience during his matches, it was evident he wasn't ready for the spotlight yet and needed more development, and a lot of it.

Once his main roster run concluded in early 2012, he was sent back down to developmental to further hone his skills in the ring. Not even NXT, the brand that is known to do wonders for the careers of many troubled stars, couldn't do anything to give this guy charisma, or a personality for that matter. Ryan wasn't much more than a one-dimensional dude with huge muscles and he was no better the day he left than the day he arrived.

At long last, WWE gave up trying to repackage Ryan in 2014 when he was released from the company.
