Tag team wrestling has gained popularity over the years as many wrestlers have now specialized themselves as specialists in this form of the sport. The Young Bucks, The Revolt, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, The Lucha Brothers, The Usos, and many other units have ensured that the two-on-two bouts get equal attention from the fans as the typical one-on-one matches.

A majority of the fans feel that WWE does not handle this division to perfection. The fact that the creative team hands the titles to randomly formed units regularly highlights the company's problem. The current department of the organization does not even have half the popularity that it had two decades ago.

While breaking up friendships and booking a feud between the two allies is a common way to get the viewers gelled to their TV screens, Vince McMahon has taken that route numerous times. Because of the high frequency of this booking method, multiple wrestlers have won the tag team belts with different co-workers.

This list features the wrestlers who have shared titles with the most number of partners, and the number one on the list has won the gold with seven different companions. This statistic ultimately clarifies that the most prominent pro wrestling company does not take this division seriously, and it frequently uses the crowns to get the singles stars over...

Cody Rhodes is currently a part of All Elite Wrestling. However, when he was a WWE superstar, Vince McMahon used him as a mid-card wrestler. During his stay at the world's most prominent sports-entertainment organization, he captured the tag team championships six times with four different partners.

The current AEW star had won tasted success in this division for the first time with Hardcore Holly as they defeated the team of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch to seize the gold. However, their partnership ended soon as Rhodes allied with Ted DiBiase. The duo had two reigns with the belts. Besides, they even formed a great partnership with Randy Orton. Two years later, Cody would team up with Drew McIntyre to rise to the top of the two-on-two wrestling department once again. After a brief reign as champions, the duo ended their partnership. Rhodes would then enter the singles division and win the Intercontinental title.

He later aligned himself with Damien Sandow for a while, and The Rhodes Scholars even won a #1 contender's tourney for the championships. Unfortunately, they could not win the titles as Team Hell No defeated them in the championship fight. His final two reigns came with his brother Goldust as Dusty Rhodes' sons dominated the company's tag team division. They even won the Slammy Award for the best team of 2013.
