10 WWE Superstars Who Must Retire In 2016

3. Kane

WWE's recent celebration of The Undertaker's 25th anniversary with the company was an homage to one of the most important and remarkable stars in wrestling history. Along for the ride was his "brother," Kane, who also boasts an impressive tenure - October marked 18 years since he debuted in WWE with the Kane character. The differences between the two menacing monsters are more pronounced than the similarities. While books could be written about The Undertaker's contributions to WWE and the achievements he's registered, Kane has been in the Phenom's shadow for nearly two decades. He's had few memorable feuds that didn't involve his older brother, and despite spending most of his career at or around the main event, he's never performed at a level worthy of his push. To be fair, Kane's physique and athleticism are quite impressive for a man his age. Still, his day has come and gone, and with each year he hangs on, the emphasis he takes away from younger stars becomes more obvious.
