10 WWE Superstars Who Need To Get Their S*** Together Before WrestleMania 41

9. Cameron Grimes

Anyone who tuned into NXT a few years back would've been charmed by the babyface rise of Cameron Grimes. His inspiring "TO THE MOON" chat and story about making his dad proud took everyone by surprise, but it turned Cam into a genuinely likeable underdog hero who succeeded in spite of WWE's system.

That's kinda awkward now he's floundering on the main roster.

Questions must be asked about what Triple H hoped to achieve by promoting Grimes from NXT to SmackDown during the 2023 Draft. Every NXT > main roster leap needs some backing from management, but Trips left Cameron high and dry almost immediately; he battered Baron Corbin in six seconds on his debut, then...nothing.

Since then, Grimes has hardly shown up on TV at all. There's no Vince McMahon to point a finger of blame at these days either. This is all on current creative. If Cam can get things in order, then he might score a spot at 'Mania 41. That's a big ask by now though.
